Canon Photo Album Kit PAK-101 - paper - 10 pcs. ( 0041B006 ) Order Now
This Canon Photo Album Kit 8.5 x 11 is great! I have now made three photo albums, and each one turned out very well. The books end up looking like store bought photo books, no joke! The photo paper quality is great, and so is the white hard cover.
Depending on your printer, most printer programs should have an option to make a book layout, printing double sided. If not, then you can always find printing programs that do. My printer had this option, and it let you choose your layouts for all the pages, the photo sizes, and even a background that goes behind all the pictures. You can set it up like a professionally done photo book, or you can make it more like a scrap book or collage type book. Either way, they're all great.
You use whatever program that you choose, print out all of the sheets with photos on them, take the hard cover and take off the sticker covering (what holds the pages in) and then you insert the pages, add the clips to the top and bottom, and you're done! Just make sure you very very carefully align the pages exactly right, because once they're stuck, they're stuck for good.
All in all, these are very good quality, end up looking like a store ordered photo book, and I definitely plan on buying more in the future. The only set back is the fact that the price is so high. But there really aren't many options out there for making 8.5 x 11 photo books, especially with this quality. I most definitely recommend this, especially to anyone who wants to have a memorable photo book of their family, or as a gift to a girlfriend or wife to show memorable past moments.Get more detail about Canon Photo Album Kit PAK-101 - paper - 10 pcs. Canon PowerShot A650IS 12.1MP Digital Camera with 6x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom Right now
I've been using it for 2 years and I really like the pictures I get. In manual mode you can set everything as you would with a Reflex. And if you install the CHDK software you can even save in raw mode and enable extra features (be sure to read the instructions first). The 12 MPx sensor means you can crop part of a picture while keeping a high resolution. The 6x analogic zoom even if not continuos is very good and up to 12x you almost don't see you're in digital mode. As most of the compact cameras the real difference with a Reflex is the quality of pictures at higher ISOs. Up to 200 very good, from 400 the grain is visible, above 400 it's worthy only if you care to have a memory. The tilting viewer was one fundamental requirement for me and is especially useful when you want to take pictures from an original point of view or for self pictures.Get more detail about Canon PowerShot A650IS 12.1MP Digital Camera with 6x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom.

Low Price Canon EOS-10D 6.3MP Digital SLR Camera (Body Only)
I had just bought this camera, and it is not compatible with any other Canon lens but the eos 10d ones.
So either buy a great adapter, or only buy those lenses.
It is really heavy, and quite big. It has all the features of the newer models, so don't worry about that. It is quite complicated if you are thinking this to be your first digital SLR.
But over all.. it is an awesome camera!!!Get more detail about Canon EOS-10D 6.3MP Digital SLR Camera (Body Only).

Cheap Canon EW83II Lens Hood for Canon EF 20-35mm f/3.5-4.5 SLR Lens
I ordered my Canon EW83II through Cameta Camera via Amazon. Cameta kept informed every step of the way during the purchase and when shipped. The lens shade fits perfectly, no struggle in lining up the red aim dots at all, the shade is made well, it's not like some of the knock off (look alike) products made out of flimsy plastic. The original Canon has a good feel and grip. It also maximizes keeping the sun from entering the lens as described. I have seen this product for as much as $70.00, so I jumped at the chance to buy an OEM product at such a good price.Get more detail about Canon EW83II Lens Hood for Canon EF 20-35mm f/3.5-4.5 SLR Lens.

Buy Tamron AF 11-18mm f/4.5-5.6 Di-II SP LD Aspherical (IF) Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras
Bought for real estate photography, with budget as a major consideration. I haven't regretted buying this lens at all, and aside from a tendency to underexpose a little on my EOS 10D (easily corrected on the camera) it's a great performer - solid yet light, quick and accurate to focus, and capable of catching a broad vision. With a tripod this lens is actually awesome.
I give it 4/5 only because it's my first wide, not because I reckon there's anything particularly wrong with it. Suits me just fine.Get more detail about Tamron AF 11-18mm f/4.5-5.6 Di-II SP LD Aspherical (IF) Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras.

Purchase Canon ZR800 MiniDV Camcorder with 35x Optical Zoom
Great Picture quality. The sound is terrible. Doesn't work with new computers such as Mac 10.6. Works with older computers. Overpriced for what it actually does. Has troubles with capture video. I don't recommend this camera. Terrible shake. There is no stabilizer. You must use a tripod always. Even then there is shaking.
Good to mess around with, bad if you are into film seriously.Get more detail about Canon ZR800 MiniDV Camcorder with 35x Optical Zoom.
Order Canon 500D 52mm Close up Lens for Canon S1 IS Digital Camera
After switching to digital SLR, I had a Nikon 35-105mm zoom lens needing a use. I did not have a true macro lens, and bought this closeup lens. Besides giving me almost 1:1 enlargement, I extended the distance from the subject so the lens doesn't cast a shadow from on-camera flash. The pictures are sharp as a tack (probably from using the center of the lens's field), and I am producing saleable closeups of flowers and small wildlife with this combo, extending the lens to 105mm for extreme closeups. The quality is much better than the built-in "macro" setting on the lens itself, probably because the lens is zoomed out for that setting. No vignetting, no distortion perceptible. A fine investment!Get more detail about Canon 500D 52mm Close up Lens for Canon S1 IS Digital Camera.

Where To Buy Canon Powershot SD500 7.1MP Digital Elph Camera with 3x Optical Zoom
This is a great camera. My wife is taking pics all the time and the quality is very good considering the camera is over 2 years old (ancient in terms of technology). It recently broke and we had it repaired by Canon for around $120. If would not have cost much more to replace it, but my wife feels that it is so easy to use, she didn't want to take the chance on a new model.Get more detail about Canon Powershot SD500 7.1MP Digital Elph Camera with 3x Optical Zoom.

Canon PowerShot TX1 7.1MP Digital Camera with 10x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom
I bought this camera/camcorder hoping that because of its portability I would actually take more pictures and video of my family. (and I am!) in the past I was reluctant to drag out my considerably larger camcorder. this takes very nice pictures. I have a video of my daughter singing on youtube if you search under "emily sings at keikos recital" you can see the video quality. during the recording I decided to use the camera feature but there is a clicking sound
on the video because of this. I am hoping that I can
find a way to remove this sound from future videos. Also when taking a picture the video stops briefly.
the size of the camcorder/camera is very nice and I
haven't had any trouble understanding how to operate it. did a lot of research before purchasing this and overall am very pleased with it.Get more detail about Canon PowerShot TX1 7.1MP Digital Camera with 10x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom.
Canon VIXIA HF100 Flash Memory High Definition Camcorder with 12x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom Review
I've purchased this camera because I use my car at track day events and wanted a camera that I could mount to the inside of the car to shoot HD footage of high-performance driving offense that I attend. This camera is not a good choice for that simply because it gives a lot of shake and it shows up in the footage. The still camera is great and the flash is strong. The video looks good if the cameras hand held or on a tripod, but if you move the camera around too quickly, you get a little bit of ghosting in the images. Like any video camera it will appreciate and use use as much light on the subject as you can get. I do recommend it because I had a hard drive based camera prior to this and it was a battery gobbler and ran hot as hell. This one runs cool and while the battery is not great, it's much better. I also like the tiny SD cards because they're cheap, fast and easy to handle. I also purchased a wide angle lens adapter which screws right in, works great. And I also purchased a depth of field (DOF) adapter which allows me to get a very good film look. Again that screws right into the threads on the front of the camera. I like it and will continue to buy the brand.Get more detail about Canon VIXIA HF100 Flash Memory High Definition Camcorder with 12x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom.

Canon BJC-50 Color Bubble Jet Printer This instant
I purchased this printer after a very bad experience when I traveled away from home and needed to print out a simple document. So I had my laptop and I saw those ads about a business that offers to be your office away from home. Well, I could not get the document printed out. So I did my research and purchased the BJC-50 since it was the smallest portable printer available at the time (the two Canons and a HP version). My BJC-50 is about seven years old and still works. It worked well with my laptop and Windows 98 and now with my laptops using Windows XP.
PROS:
The BJC-50 is the smallest available travel printer for printing documents and prints at a relatively acceptable speed.
The BJC-50 printer includes a LiON battery which makes for truly portable printing. I'm amazed how long a charge lasts and the battery pack is inside a battery compartment in the printer (not externally like the HP Deskjet 460 series). Well, the LiON battery is piggy back attached to the HP 460. I'm guessing that HP recommends removing the battery before traveling. You don't need to do that with the BJC-50. Just remember to slide the power lock switch on the right side of the BJC-50 to prevent the printer from accidentally turning on when traveling.
CONS:
The REALLY BAD part of this printer is that the ink cartridges, once opened, do not last very long. The color cartridges dry out faster than the black cartridges. And the ink cartridges do not provide feedback to indicate the amount of ink remaining in each cartridge.
The printer is relatively loud when it is printing.
You need to be careful when feeding the paper otherwise the printer ejects the paper.
I cannot get the IS-12 Scanner Cartridge in the BJC-50 printer to communicate with the IS application under Windows XP even though Canon's web site and the Readme file says it is supported (there is a configuration issue somewhere). This is more effort than its worth for now.
SUMMARY: This is one temperamental printer. While it provides convenient printing on the go, I think it takes more effort than it should just to get something printed.
I'm purchasing a HP Deskjet 460WF. I'll let you know how I like it soon.Get more detail about Canon BJC-50 Color Bubble Jet Printer.

Canon PowerShot SD950IS 12.1MP Digital Camera with 3.7x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Titanium) Best Quality
I pretty much love everything about this little point and shoot camera. I have taken this camera from the ski slopes, Disney World, and to the tops of mountains...and it performed well in all conditions. This is the first digital camera I purchased myself and I will be sure to keep purchasing Canon cameras in the future. Shutter speed for action shots, sub-par low light shooting, and extremely large video files are the only complaints I have. Otherwise...this is the camera you want!Get more detail about Canon PowerShot SD950IS 12.1MP Digital Camera with 3.7x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Titanium).

Canon Speedlite 540EZ Get it now!
If you are into Manual Flash Photography and could care less about TTL (as I am) then grab one, heck grab four of this. Because for the price of one 580ex you can get two or even three 540ez, talk about a steal =)
The Canon 540ez is a consistent little sucker. The recycle times and flash output are fast and efficient.
I've picked this over the 580ex because I don't get the RF interference when I use it with my pocket wizards.
Lastly, if you are into strobist like me, and had to pick between a Vivitar 285HV and a Canon 540ez, pick the 540ez, its more reliable and is not prone to being fried because of quality issues.

Canon PowerShot S410 4MP Digital Elph with 3x Optical Zoom Right now
I know that this camera is an older version, having only 4 pixels. But in my line of work, this has proven to be the best camera for the money - then and now. Lowest Price Canon BP-522 Extended Lithium Battery for Optura Pi, ZR 80, 85, 90 Camcorders
Getting an extra, larger-sized capacity battery for your camcorder is a must considering a lot of batteries bundled with the packages right now are the smallest-capacity ones. This is true for the Canon ZR70 MC camcorder. This battery offers extra juice without the hassle or fear of constant battery drainage compared to using the one that came with the camcorder. I now use the smaller capacity as a back-up and the larger one as the main battery. From what I understand, this battery also works with different Canon camcorder models. Very happy with this purchase!Get more detail about Canon BP-522 Extended Lithium Battery for Optura Pi, ZR 80, 85, 90 Camcorders.

Low Price Canon Powershot A1000IS 10MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Brown)
This Digital camera makes a perfect gift to anybody in your family especially elders. I gifted this to my mom and she loves the camera. She did not had to go through the entire manual to operate this camera. Ofcourse you need to have minimum common sense which I guess most of us have :). The other reason why I took this camera was that it operated using the cell battery which you can get it in any store all over the world. Since my mom was traveling I wanted to get her something to use which would not need a voltage converter etc etc. I did not want my mom to carry a converter so I looked in specific for a camera that would run on cell batteries as she can get it anywhere she wants. So now she doesn't have to carry the silly camera battery charger with her. SO all she had to do was pop in new batteries. The picture transfer was easy she did not had to go through a lot of hassle. The picture quality was good. The camera was very portable and you can carry around where ever you want to . Over all its a good camera and easy to use.Get more detail about Canon Powershot A1000IS 10MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Brown).
Save Canon ZR200 MiniDV Camcorder w/20x Optical Zoom (High Metal)
We bought this camera early 2006 when our daughter was born. Our son was born in May of 2009 and right after he was born the mini dv would no longer go into the camera when we put it in there. It just stayed out and made beeping noises. Some of our other friends had Cannon's and theirs had done the same thing. When they sent it into Cannon to be fixed they got charged anywhere from $100 to $150 for their camera to be fixed -- ridiculous seeing that they could purchase a new one for around the same price. I was very disappointed in this camera, it worked for three years, but now we have missed almost 5 months of our son's life because we have been trying to figure out which new camera to buy. I thought this one would last us much longer.Get more detail about Canon ZR200 MiniDV Camcorder w/20x Optical Zoom (High Metal).

Cheap Canon BC-20 Black Ink Cartridge
I was very disappointed when I opened the package to see NOT the Canon product pictured but a "compatible cartridge". THE PRODUCT PICTURE SHOULD BE OF THE ACTUAL PRODUCT YOU RECEIVE, NOT WHAT IT IS REPLACING UNLESS IT IS SPECIFICALLY STATED THAT IT IS ANOTHER BRAND.
Once I opened the package, I went back to look at the product page and NOWHERE DOES IT STATE THAT WHAT YOU ARE ACTUALLY ORDERING IS A PTi CARTRIDGE!!!!!
Do not order this item until they change the picture and/or state that you are not ordering a Canon product but are ordering a PTi product.Get more detail about Canon BC-20 Black Ink Cartridge.

I've bought other scanners since this one. But I cant get rid of this b/c this is overall, reliable, easy to use, and accurate. Well, not great for color, but one cable. good software. Buy 12-Digit Heavy-Duty Print Calculator with Fluorescent Display (CNMCP1213DII)
We are perfectly happy with the Canon calculator. The key strokes are soft and it's easy to operate. If I HAD to change something about the machine it would be the font on the print out. It's not as easy to read as previous Canon machines we've had.
It is important to us to have the same, or very similar, machines through out the office, as we are invariably at someone elses desk when a call comes in to "calculate" something for a customer. We tried one of the 1400 series machines and found it to be complicated in that the "sleep" function was annoying and to clear out previous totals was near impossible. (Yes, we read the instructions)
Living in a small town we have limited resources. It's not unusual to hear "they don't make that anymore" when shopping here. So, I was thrilled to find the same brand and model calculator we use throughout the office through Amazon.Get more detail about 12-Digit Heavy-Duty Print Calculator with Fluorescent Display (CNMCP1213DII).
Purchase Canon EF 80-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras
I'll be honest in saying that this lens doesn't absolutely thrill me. But it doesn't disappoint, either. It is a decent lens for the price and an excellent starter lens. I bought this lens when I made the step up to SLR with my 10D. It takes some decent pictures. Not stunningly sharp, yet usable for a number of tasks. I'm not so sure about action shots yet, though. The main test I had with it was a volleyball game my wife was coaching. I rattled off 100 shots with this lens, and got about 15 that I was happy with. I haven't really used it since then based on this. I've learned more things to help my photography in this situation, and I have learned that I probably wasn't using the correct focus drive for the situation. That most likely accounts for the vast majority of shots I didn't care for. Even though I now know this, I somehow associate this lens with my disappointment with those shots. I've since upgraded to an older 70-210 push-pull zoom lens that I like a lot better. I may sell this lens, but I'll give it another shot before I do that. Aside from that, the build quality is good for the price, and it is fairly lightweight for the zoom you get with it. It's not a terribly fast lens apeture-wise, but it seems to work well enough. I don't think you can get a better zoom lens for the price, so I can't knock it too much! Overall, you'd be wise to start off with a zoom like this one and work from there. It's a great starting block lens!Get more detail about Canon EF 80-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras.

Canon Pixma MP530 Office All-In-One Inkjet Photo Printer This instant
I sure wish I had read these reviews before I bought this printer. I know for a fact that every time it sounds like it's charging or whatever, it is spilling ink onto that pad that's inside. I had to quit using it because it had about a 1 inch black wet line running down the page, the paper would fall apart it was so wet. Then I would tell it to print like 3 pages and the black wet line faded some, but it was still huge and dark and unusable, then when it finished printing the 3 pages it would do it's little charge thing (aka drinking ink) then the first page I would print would have this sopping wet 1-inch line going down the middle. On top of that, Canon told me all I had to do was take it into their nearest shop and they would put a printhead in for me. Well, I've done that before on a previous Canon printer. This place is 100 miles from my house, one way! I had to take it up there and they refused to even mail it back to me. I told the tech if all it needed was a printhead then I'll buy a new printhead and put it in myself. Ok, I spent $75.00 on a printhead and it didn't make a bit of difference and I couldn't return it, because I had opened the box! (anybody want to buy a cheap printhead?) So then I thought instead of chunking it I would use it as a scanner or fax machine, HA that was a joke too, when the ink ran out (mysteriously evaporated, cause I wasn't printing anything), it locked up the whole machine! I tried to fool the thing by filling an ink tank with water, that didn't work. So since I had 5 unused Canon ink cartridges on hand (all black) I opened all of those brand new expensive ink cartridges and put them in and this thing KNEW they were not the right colors and it continues to be locked up. Another thing, don't think you can try generic ink cartridges either, it knows they are generic and won't print! I've had it, now it's going to the garbage dump. I'll never buy another Canon, 1st time shame on Canon, 2nd time shame on me! :(Get more detail about Canon Pixma MP530 Office All-In-One Inkjet Photo Printer.
Canon PowerShot SD100 3.2MP Digital ELPH Camera w/ 2x Optical Zoom Immediately
I have had my Canon Powershot SD100 for over 4 years and have never been unhappy with it. Pictures turn out high quality and professional looking. Battery life remains fantastic even after having charged and recharged it hundreds of times. The size is perfect to toss in a purse or bag, and the camera is durable enough that you don't have to worry about it when you do! Working the camera is easy - it's simple to navigate and extremely user friendly. I had some issues with the CCD a while back, but I called Canon and they fixed it for FREE (they even paid for shipping). I don't doubt that I will continue to use this camera until it is unusable (which will no doubt be quite some time), and then I'll buy another Canon! I am thoroughly impressed. I would recommend purchasing a larger SD card to go this one, as the one that's included is pretty small. My 1GB card is perfect.Get more detail about Canon PowerShot SD100 3.2MP Digital ELPH Camera w/ 2x Optical Zoom.

CANON PC160 Personal Copier 8461A043 Best Quality
I've had this copier for a couple of years. It has ALWAYS worked beautifully! Not a single problem with it, or with the earlier model I used for a number of years (which my ex now has).
It's simple, easy to use, and the cartidges are easy to replace. It's not super fast, but it is inexpensive and reliable. Combining the cost of toner (around $90 for 2000 copies) and paper, copies run just about 5 cents per page.
The platten--the glass that you put the original on--moves, so you can't really copy big items like books that need to be held in place. The tradeoff there is that it is easily (and quickly) portable, as well as considerably less expensive than fixed platten models.

Canon PIXMA mini260 Photo Inkjet Printer (1444B002) Get it now!
This printer was easy to set up and use. The quality of the prints are excellent and the speed of printing is good. I am still on the initial print ink cartrige but the number of prints so far is much better than many printers deliver. Unlike my last printer (Epson), I do not have to buy both the paper and ink cartrige together so the overall cost of printing should be very good. Overall and excellent low cost printer.Get more detail about Canon PIXMA mini260 Photo Inkjet Printer (1444B002).

Canon IS12 Color Image Scanner Cartridge Buy Now
I run my own insurance business and was always inundated by a sea of paperwork. This little scanner fits into my BJC-85 printer and serves double duty - I can scan and then print with the same machine. Genius! I would have liked the ability to scan documents into a pdf format, but you can't have everything. This little scanner is the main reason I will not upgrade my BJC-85, as it is not compatible with later models.Get more detail about Canon IS12 Color Image Scanner Cartridge.

In my opinion The JYC Wire and wireless 16 Channel Dual function remote works better. It works on Fm waves so you do not even have to see the camera to focus and shoot. Canon PIXMA MP600 All-in-One Photo Printer with Easy Scroll Wheel (1451B002) Decide Now
I was initially happy with this printer. I paid a few more dollars expecting the payback in the cheaper ink tanks vs the ink cartridges found in a lot of the cheaper printers. It had all of the features I was looking for in a home use printer and I had high hopes that I would get my hard earned moneys worth out of it. It put out pretty decent print quality and the scanner did it's job. The included software was very easy to use and works very well. Now for the not so good part:
Well, to make a log story short, one minor paper jam rendered the print head useless. The printer gives an error of "The wrong print head is installed, please install the correct print head". (This is the original print head that came with the unit). Of course I went through all of the usual steps of removing the ink tanks and pulling out the print head to check for contamination or damage. The print head looks perfect and clean yet still gives an error that it is the wrong print head. The paper jam cleared itself out after cycling power and it could hardly be called a serious jam as only the corner of the page was bent up and there wasn't even a hint of a tear. Oh yes, before any smart comments are made I have never refilled or used after market ink. It has never been run out of ink either. I learned that lesson a couple of printers ago. It has always been genuine Canon ink. Did it's internal timer run out Canon? This printer hasn't seen a lot of use yet the print head is dead already with less than 1000 sheets? I've heard stories about these kind of tactics. I have always thought it was the usual disgruntled customer trying to find a reason to give a bad review and stretching for a reason to dislike or badmouth a company. Now I'm believing that there may be something to this as this is the 2nd Canon printer that has failed with very little use. Both printers have lasted just over 2 years before the print heads failed with very little printing. Is this just a coincidence? It's funny that the print head is priced so high for the MP600 yet it does exactly the same thing that almost all inkjet printer cartridges do in the higher priced inks since the print head is built into those cartridges. Was it worth paying the extra for the printer so I could by cheaper ink tanks and replace them individually? NO!
Now here's the kicker, you can't even use the scanner when this happens. That's right kiddies, this thing is rendered completely useless and I can't even scan a document and send it to another "working" printer. After reading similar complaints it turns out that the MP600 is rendered useless when one of the ink tanks runs out too. Now what does Ink have to do with scanning Canon? Shame on you. Multifunction inkjet manufacturers are literally raping the public with these tactics and Canon isn't the only manufacturer playing these kind of games.
So here I am with a decision to make. Do I spend another $75 + shipping on a print head just so I can use the spare Canon Ink tanks I have sitting in my desk. Do I chuck this thing in the driveway and see what 35" tires will do to it? Or do I just bite the bullet and buy a laser printer so I won't have to deal with these issues any longer. (One toner lasts 2500 sheets and costs $70) Laser printers are built much better and last a very long time although the upfront cost is a bit more. After putting all of the figures together with the original purchase price, ink used, and a new print head this wonderful piece of technology "MP600" would have cost upwards of $650 total invested. I have put less than 1000 sheets through it so this thing has basically cost me almost $.07 for each page I have printed. Most of which have just been black and white text documents. I have only printed maybe 20 pictures total with this printer during it's short life span. I can have photographs printed professionally for about $.07 each at the local wholesale club so what does this say about this money pit of a printer.
To make a long story short, stay away from this printer and if you do your homework you'll find that inkjet printers in general are total money pits that will end up costing a fortune in the long run!
If you do find one with cheap ink chances are that the printer will break down before you ever get your dollars worth from it. There is one manufacturer that claims cheap ink (I'll let you figure out which one but they are known for photo paper) but it turns out that you have to print over 5000 pages before you'll ever see a break even point. Good luck getting an inkjet printer to last that long and if it does it will most likely break down just as soon as you fill it up with new ink or buy spare cartridges.
The days of throwing/giving away your cheap inkjet printer and just buying another one rather than buying ink are over too. The new printers come with barely enough ink to get you by and force you to buy their expensive ink almost immediately. Granted even new laser jet printers will come with a "low yield" toner but you'll definitely be better off in the long run.
Bottom line: Stay away from these printers unless you feel the absolute need to print in color!Get more detail about Canon PIXMA MP600 All-in-One Photo Printer with Easy Scroll Wheel (1451B002).
Canon PowerShot A720IS 8MP Digital Camera with 6x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom Right now
I returned this product because of shutter lag & not really enough zoom for me. The seller was more than helpful & accomodating. I bought a Canon SX210IS. It has just as much shutter lag. At any zoom over 10x you need a tripod - which is difficult on any trip moving with a group. BUT MOST important is the lack of viewfinder!! It is dramatic how many photos are out of focus for lack of ability to steady camera against one's head. etc etcGet more detail about Canon PowerShot A720IS 8MP Digital Camera with 6x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom.

Save Canon WP-DC1 Waterproof Case for PowerShot S80
The Camera and the Waterproof case are a perfect pair though it finally happened; the S80 LCD Shattered. Not wanting to purchase and relearn another system, I had the LCD replaced ($$$) but I'm glad I still have a strong combination in the S80/WP-DC1. It handles extremely well in cold water diving off the coast of Northern California as well as deep warm water dives - the results are exceptional. The system is not for the casual camera handler and requires practice and experience.Get more detail about Canon WP-DC1 Waterproof Case for PowerShot S80.
Discount Canon BGE2 Battery Grip for the EOS 20D and EOS 30D Digital SLR Cameras
I almost bought the wrong battery-grip. The knock-off brand I was going to get didn't have the convenient storage spot for the camera's battery door. Catching it at the last moment, I ended up forking up the extra $70 to buy this Canon grip. With the storage spot, you'll never lose your door and can easily re-attach it if you remove your grip.
The grip allows you to draw from two batteries which allows you to shoot continuously without interuption; this is excellent for lengthy ceremonies such as big weddings, all-day model shoots, large family reunions, etc. I can shoot for hours with two batteries (a back-up pair on two chargers), once dead I can swap out the batteries and keep going.
I like how the grip fits snug against my Canon EOS 30D. The tightening wheel makes for quick tightening and loosening the grip.
One thing I really appreciated when I got the camera is the extra AA-battery tray that came in the box. This tray allows you to run the camera on 6-AA batteries, should all your batteries run out or aren't fully charged. AA's are found virtually anywhere, so when traveling, you don't need to pack them with you while you travel. The 6 double-A's, however, do not provide the same run-time (about 50% really), but they do give you time until your next pair of batteries to fully charge and be ready for use. Some people have mentioned in their reviews that their camera (like the EOS 20D) don't seem to fit right, I haven't been able to test this for myself, but I can attest that this grip WILL fit the EOS 30D.
I found the grip to be on the big side in respect to handling the camera in portrait orientation, however, my hands are somewhat large, so for me, the grip fits perfectly. If you have small hands, you most likely will not like this grip.
The grip has made my work easier and more productive. To me, time is money and this grip has been worth the investment.Get more detail about Canon BGE2 Battery Grip for the EOS 20D and EOS 30D Digital SLR Cameras.

Buy Canon EOS Rebel Ti 35mm SLR Kit w/ 28-90mm Lens
An excellent camera for the money. I'm a fan of 35mm over digital, so finding a good camera is always a problem. I've shot about ten rolls already, all turning out superb. The flash is a nice feature. The only downside I found was the manual was on CD. I prefer paper manuals for quicker reference. That's the only reason it lost one star.Get more detail about Canon EOS Rebel Ti 35mm SLR Kit w/ 28-90mm Lens.

Purchase Canon WP-DC2 Waterproof Case for Canon A540 Digital Camera
This waterproof case worked like a charm! My husband and I used it on our Caribbean cruise. We originally purchased it because we were going snorkeling and swimming with the stingrays, so we wanted to get pictures of that. Well, we got some rainy weather on a couple of the other days we were on our cruise, so we were able to use our camera then as well! I can see us getting a lot more use out of this case (storm pictures, waterpark pictures, etc.). It is well worth the extra cost, and the ease of use is just fantastic!Get more detail about Canon WP-DC2 Waterproof Case for Canon A540 Digital Camera.
