Very pleased with this product. Have had one for about 25 years which got broken this past vacation. Canon Pixma MP530 Office All-In-One Inkjet Photo Printer This instant
I sure wish I had read these reviews before I bought this printer. I know for a fact that every time it sounds like it's charging or whatever, it is spilling ink onto that pad that's inside. I had to quit using it because it had about a 1 inch black wet line running down the page, the paper would fall apart it was so wet. Then I would tell it to print like 3 pages and the black wet line faded some, but it was still huge and dark and unusable, then when it finished printing the 3 pages it would do it's little charge thing (aka drinking ink) then the first page I would print would have this sopping wet 1-inch line going down the middle. On top of that, Canon told me all I had to do was take it into their nearest shop and they would put a printhead in for me. Well, I've done that before on a previous Canon printer. This place is 100 miles from my house, one way! I had to take it up there and they refused to even mail it back to me. I told the tech if all it needed was a printhead then I'll buy a new printhead and put it in myself. Ok, I spent $75.00 on a printhead and it didn't make a bit of difference and I couldn't return it, because I had opened the box! (anybody want to buy a cheap printhead?) So then I thought instead of chunking it I would use it as a scanner or fax machine, HA that was a joke too, when the ink ran out (mysteriously evaporated, cause I wasn't printing anything), it locked up the whole machine! I tried to fool the thing by filling an ink tank with water, that didn't work. So since I had 5 unused Canon ink cartridges on hand (all black) I opened all of those brand new expensive ink cartridges and put them in and this thing KNEW they were not the right colors and it continues to be locked up. Another thing, don't think you can try generic ink cartridges either, it knows they are generic and won't print! I've had it, now it's going to the garbage dump. I'll never buy another Canon, 1st time shame on Canon, 2nd time shame on me! :(Get more detail about Canon Pixma MP530 Office All-In-One Inkjet Photo Printer.
Canon PowerShot SD100 3.2MP Digital ELPH Camera w/ 2x Optical Zoom Immediately
I have had my Canon Powershot SD100 for over 4 years and have never been unhappy with it. Pictures turn out high quality and professional looking. Battery life remains fantastic even after having charged and recharged it hundreds of times. The size is perfect to toss in a purse or bag, and the camera is durable enough that you don't have to worry about it when you do! Working the camera is easy - it's simple to navigate and extremely user friendly. I had some issues with the CCD a while back, but I called Canon and they fixed it for FREE (they even paid for shipping). I don't doubt that I will continue to use this camera until it is unusable (which will no doubt be quite some time), and then I'll buy another Canon! I am thoroughly impressed. I would recommend purchasing a larger SD card to go this one, as the one that's included is pretty small. My 1GB card is perfect.Get more detail about Canon PowerShot SD100 3.2MP Digital ELPH Camera w/ 2x Optical Zoom.

CANON PC160 Personal Copier 8461A043 Best Quality
I've had this copier for a couple of years. It has ALWAYS worked beautifully! Not a single problem with it, or with the earlier model I used for a number of years (which my ex now has).
It's simple, easy to use, and the cartidges are easy to replace. It's not super fast, but it is inexpensive and reliable. Combining the cost of toner (around $90 for 2000 copies) and paper, copies run just about 5 cents per page.
The platten--the glass that you put the original on--moves, so you can't really copy big items like books that need to be held in place. The tradeoff there is that it is easily (and quickly) portable, as well as considerably less expensive than fixed platten models.

Canon PIXMA mini260 Photo Inkjet Printer (1444B002) Get it now!
This printer was easy to set up and use. The quality of the prints are excellent and the speed of printing is good. I am still on the initial print ink cartrige but the number of prints so far is much better than many printers deliver. Unlike my last printer (Epson), I do not have to buy both the paper and ink cartrige together so the overall cost of printing should be very good. Overall and excellent low cost printer.Get more detail about Canon PIXMA mini260 Photo Inkjet Printer (1444B002).

Canon IS12 Color Image Scanner Cartridge Buy Now
I run my own insurance business and was always inundated by a sea of paperwork. This little scanner fits into my BJC-85 printer and serves double duty - I can scan and then print with the same machine. Genius! I would have liked the ability to scan documents into a pdf format, but you can't have everything. This little scanner is the main reason I will not upgrade my BJC-85, as it is not compatible with later models.Get more detail about Canon IS12 Color Image Scanner Cartridge.

In my opinion The JYC Wire and wireless 16 Channel Dual function remote works better. It works on Fm waves so you do not even have to see the camera to focus and shoot. Canon PIXMA MP600 All-in-One Photo Printer with Easy Scroll Wheel (1451B002) Decide Now
I was initially happy with this printer. I paid a few more dollars expecting the payback in the cheaper ink tanks vs the ink cartridges found in a lot of the cheaper printers. It had all of the features I was looking for in a home use printer and I had high hopes that I would get my hard earned moneys worth out of it. It put out pretty decent print quality and the scanner did it's job. The included software was very easy to use and works very well. Now for the not so good part:
Well, to make a log story short, one minor paper jam rendered the print head useless. The printer gives an error of "The wrong print head is installed, please install the correct print head". (This is the original print head that came with the unit). Of course I went through all of the usual steps of removing the ink tanks and pulling out the print head to check for contamination or damage. The print head looks perfect and clean yet still gives an error that it is the wrong print head. The paper jam cleared itself out after cycling power and it could hardly be called a serious jam as only the corner of the page was bent up and there wasn't even a hint of a tear. Oh yes, before any smart comments are made I have never refilled or used after market ink. It has never been run out of ink either. I learned that lesson a couple of printers ago. It has always been genuine Canon ink. Did it's internal timer run out Canon? This printer hasn't seen a lot of use yet the print head is dead already with less than 1000 sheets? I've heard stories about these kind of tactics. I have always thought it was the usual disgruntled customer trying to find a reason to give a bad review and stretching for a reason to dislike or badmouth a company. Now I'm believing that there may be something to this as this is the 2nd Canon printer that has failed with very little use. Both printers have lasted just over 2 years before the print heads failed with very little printing. Is this just a coincidence? It's funny that the print head is priced so high for the MP600 yet it does exactly the same thing that almost all inkjet printer cartridges do in the higher priced inks since the print head is built into those cartridges. Was it worth paying the extra for the printer so I could by cheaper ink tanks and replace them individually? NO!
Now here's the kicker, you can't even use the scanner when this happens. That's right kiddies, this thing is rendered completely useless and I can't even scan a document and send it to another "working" printer. After reading similar complaints it turns out that the MP600 is rendered useless when one of the ink tanks runs out too. Now what does Ink have to do with scanning Canon? Shame on you. Multifunction inkjet manufacturers are literally raping the public with these tactics and Canon isn't the only manufacturer playing these kind of games.
So here I am with a decision to make. Do I spend another $75 + shipping on a print head just so I can use the spare Canon Ink tanks I have sitting in my desk. Do I chuck this thing in the driveway and see what 35" tires will do to it? Or do I just bite the bullet and buy a laser printer so I won't have to deal with these issues any longer. (One toner lasts 2500 sheets and costs $70) Laser printers are built much better and last a very long time although the upfront cost is a bit more. After putting all of the figures together with the original purchase price, ink used, and a new print head this wonderful piece of technology "MP600" would have cost upwards of $650 total invested. I have put less than 1000 sheets through it so this thing has basically cost me almost $.07 for each page I have printed. Most of which have just been black and white text documents. I have only printed maybe 20 pictures total with this printer during it's short life span. I can have photographs printed professionally for about $.07 each at the local wholesale club so what does this say about this money pit of a printer.
To make a long story short, stay away from this printer and if you do your homework you'll find that inkjet printers in general are total money pits that will end up costing a fortune in the long run!
If you do find one with cheap ink chances are that the printer will break down before you ever get your dollars worth from it. There is one manufacturer that claims cheap ink (I'll let you figure out which one but they are known for photo paper) but it turns out that you have to print over 5000 pages before you'll ever see a break even point. Good luck getting an inkjet printer to last that long and if it does it will most likely break down just as soon as you fill it up with new ink or buy spare cartridges.
The days of throwing/giving away your cheap inkjet printer and just buying another one rather than buying ink are over too. The new printers come with barely enough ink to get you by and force you to buy their expensive ink almost immediately. Granted even new laser jet printers will come with a "low yield" toner but you'll definitely be better off in the long run.
Bottom line: Stay away from these printers unless you feel the absolute need to print in color!Get more detail about Canon PIXMA MP600 All-in-One Photo Printer with Easy Scroll Wheel (1451B002).
Canon PowerShot A720IS 8MP Digital Camera with 6x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom Right now
I returned this product because of shutter lag & not really enough zoom for me. The seller was more than helpful & accomodating. I bought a Canon SX210IS. It has just as much shutter lag. At any zoom over 10x you need a tripod - which is difficult on any trip moving with a group. BUT MOST important is the lack of viewfinder!! It is dramatic how many photos are out of focus for lack of ability to steady camera against one's head. etc etcGet more detail about Canon PowerShot A720IS 8MP Digital Camera with 6x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom.

Save Canon WP-DC1 Waterproof Case for PowerShot S80
The Camera and the Waterproof case are a perfect pair though it finally happened; the S80 LCD Shattered. Not wanting to purchase and relearn another system, I had the LCD replaced ($$$) but I'm glad I still have a strong combination in the S80/WP-DC1. It handles extremely well in cold water diving off the coast of Northern California as well as deep warm water dives - the results are exceptional. The system is not for the casual camera handler and requires practice and experience.Get more detail about Canon WP-DC1 Waterproof Case for PowerShot S80.
Discount Canon BGE2 Battery Grip for the EOS 20D and EOS 30D Digital SLR Cameras
I almost bought the wrong battery-grip. The knock-off brand I was going to get didn't have the convenient storage spot for the camera's battery door. Catching it at the last moment, I ended up forking up the extra $70 to buy this Canon grip. With the storage spot, you'll never lose your door and can easily re-attach it if you remove your grip.
The grip allows you to draw from two batteries which allows you to shoot continuously without interuption; this is excellent for lengthy ceremonies such as big weddings, all-day model shoots, large family reunions, etc. I can shoot for hours with two batteries (a back-up pair on two chargers), once dead I can swap out the batteries and keep going.
I like how the grip fits snug against my Canon EOS 30D. The tightening wheel makes for quick tightening and loosening the grip.
One thing I really appreciated when I got the camera is the extra AA-battery tray that came in the box. This tray allows you to run the camera on 6-AA batteries, should all your batteries run out or aren't fully charged. AA's are found virtually anywhere, so when traveling, you don't need to pack them with you while you travel. The 6 double-A's, however, do not provide the same run-time (about 50% really), but they do give you time until your next pair of batteries to fully charge and be ready for use. Some people have mentioned in their reviews that their camera (like the EOS 20D) don't seem to fit right, I haven't been able to test this for myself, but I can attest that this grip WILL fit the EOS 30D.
I found the grip to be on the big side in respect to handling the camera in portrait orientation, however, my hands are somewhat large, so for me, the grip fits perfectly. If you have small hands, you most likely will not like this grip.
The grip has made my work easier and more productive. To me, time is money and this grip has been worth the investment.Get more detail about Canon BGE2 Battery Grip for the EOS 20D and EOS 30D Digital SLR Cameras.
