Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Silver) Get it now!

C'mon, guys! It's a point and shoot micro camera, not the Hubble Telescope so don't expect D-SLR build and features from this little cool baby. The lens is good, the handling is good, on/off is good, it fits in my back pants pocket. I keep the strap on it so I can pull it out quickly. I also put a screen protector on the LCD to protect it from scratches. Due to all the scrathces on the plastic sheet, I change the protector every few months. I replaced my older canon SD700IS with the new SD1300 since I wanted a new pocket camera. I use my Nikon D-SLR for all my heavier shoots but always keep my mini Canon in my pocket just in case. You can't go wrong for $179. This is first camera I've had without a view finder but I'm told that change is good and I shouldn't drug myself to overcome the lack of the peephole. Yes, I used to be a pro. And remember the adage, "It's the photographer, stupid, not just the camera." Oh yeah, the reason I didn't get the SD1400 is that I'm an old timer and need buttons to push rather than a touch screen.Get more detail about Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Silver).

This is a great point in shoot camera. Although I can agree the quality could be better its still a really good camera. Canon Pixma PRO9000MkII Inkjet Photo Printer (3295B002) Order Now

I should have purchased this printer a long time ago!! It is SWEET!! Very easy to set up and the output is stunning. I have printed everything from 4x6 to 13x19, and on everything from high-gloss to canvas and been impressed with all of them. The combination I like best though is this printer with Canon's Pro Platinum paper. The prints just glow! There is absolutely no indication whatsoever that the prints are made with an ink jet printer.....they have that photo lab processed look to them. I highly recommend this printer to any serious photographer. One caveat though.....have room for it. It is a big boy! Get more detail about Canon Pixma PRO9000MkII Inkjet Photo Printer (3295B002).

Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-Inch LCD and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens Right now

Well I finally got my camera... It was what I expected.

I also own a Nikon D60 (there's my review on that)

I must say, the plasticky feel in my hand shocked me a bit!... it feels like grabbing one of my daughter's toys... sort of action figure plastic... but it is expected... after all this is basically loaded with many features a 7D, or 5D has at a fraction of the cost.

The camera is light and all button repositions from the previous models work great ergonomically... I got this camera more for it's video capabilities to shoot 1080P video with my prime lenses!!!... photographywise, I haven't done a GREAT DEAL of testing yet, but so far I have to say, the 12.3 Megapixel Nikon's pictures look as good if not better, more balanced... and we're talking D60, not a D3 here... HOWEVER all in all a photographer with a good eye and a better lens than the 18-55 supplied will take awesome pictures... in other words, the image will 95% the photographer's ability... and maybe 5% of what you can't do on it, would be equipment limitations, such as full frame, shutter speed and calibration... this can take pictures you could publish anywhere.

They are different companies with different focus (no pun intended).

This is the best all around entry level DSLR, for video and everyday use.
If you want better photo quality, albeit less menu options and less video capability a Nikon beats this camera easily.

CANON: Unparalleled bang from your buck... great quality of images.
NIKON: Image quality and consistency first, more solid build... features second.Get more detail about Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-Inch LCD and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens.

Lowest Price Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP Waterproof Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5-inch LCD

At first I was very excited when I received mine in the mail, bought all the accesories, etc. Only used it once or twice before my trip to Jamaica for my wedding. Upon arrival everything seemed to work great, pictures not as good as my other canon, but not bad. My sister bought the same camera for the trip. Within a couple days they both had errors saying lens error, so we were out cameras for our once in a lifetime trip. Which caused next to none wedding pictures (I was able to purchase some from the resort, very expensive!) I did alot of research before purchasing, really disappointed !Get more detail about Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP Waterproof Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5-inch LCD.

Low Price Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5-inch LCD (Deep Red)

I just tested this out today, Christmas day by taking a few pictures of my guinea pigs. I hooked it up easily to my hd tv and was able to zoom in and still easily see crisp hairs on these guinea pigs. It is absolutely amazing. The video is much better then I expected. I am in love with the pictures this takes and that is why I bought it but the amazing videos are just another plus. Do not listen to these bad reviews this is the camera for you.Get more detail about Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5-inch LCD (Deep Red).

Save Canon PIXMA MP560 Wireless Inkjet All-In-One Photo Printer (3747B002)

I have only had it about a month, but I love it. Have been through a lot of not-so-hot printers, but this one is the best yet....first class! One of the neatest things is that it sits in a very small area since the paper is loaded from an underneath cartridge. Also, you can scan and save right to PDF file which is great.

I'm a little nervous about $$$ for printer refill, but we'll seeGet more detail about Canon PIXMA MP560 Wireless Inkjet All-In-One Photo Printer (3747B002).
